5th December Sammy DEE (GE)
Revelation instead of obviousness, radical reduction versus reckless verve, ecstatic eternalness, anti-elastic dictatorship of utilization.
In the course of an existence amidst the international Techno circus manège that has been running for (in nearly correct mathematical terms) 20 years, Mario Radecki alias Sammy Dee was able to earn an irrevocable aura as an innovator of electronic music workmanship, far away from beaten mass consumption paths and neotericcommercial validity.
As a (former) resident of Berlin based genesis time venues Tresor and Ostgut, the name Sammy Dee has already been notorious for a passionate manifestation of systematic, personality changing mixing skills back in the 90s.
Defining an unparalleled audio-arty range, the vinyl fanatic likes to disperse his beliefs and visions eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth to the skilled and listening audience. Through Sammy's audiophile and distinctive presence, subtle bass-lines are consistently oscillating alongside psychotic tunes, chopped and edgy explorations float through intangibly grotesque layers - all flawlessly sailing around a mediocre moment of time with a trademark, mischievious Perlon smile.
Sammy Dee's youngest child is named Ultrastretch. Titled after the PERLON68-B-side and not to be confused with his regular party series at Berlin based Weekend club, Sammy founded Ultrastretch at the end of 2010 with a collective of like-minded musicians and cultivated artists who were ready to walk with him on his underground community based path into a non-genre-focussed and cross-benched/forthright future.

14th and 15th of June : Dangerous Dan (Music to Dance to / Au) and Bar’el (Cloud 9 resident / AU)
Dangerous Dan
After being taught to DJ by the one and only Ajax Dance Legend (R.I.P)
Dan and his lil bro Beni went on to throw a little party called “Dangerous Dan and Bumpin Benny B’s Bargain Basement Booty Bar” they were joined by Ajax, Gus Da Hoodrat and Jaime Doom and evolved into “The Bang Gang” quickly becoming Sydney’s most infamous club night.
The Bang Gang ran for 5 years and every Friday night became a home to a melting pot of Sydney’s tastemakers, cool kids and drag queens.
The Bang Gang DJ’s went on to national and international tours of the USA, UK and Europe, Japan and Asia, that included supporting Daft Punk on their Alive Tour of Australia in 2007.
It was the best of times that suddenly became the worst of times. On February 28, 2013, the news came that AJAX had suddenly died in a tragic accident.
The Bang Gang wouldn’t be the same without him, the boys decided to part ways and work solo projects.
As a DJ, Dangerous Dan has played club nights and festivals in most major cities and a few unknown corners of the world. Sharing the decks and playing B2B with artists such as Tiga, 2ManyDJ’s, Justice, DJ Mehdi, Busy P, Erol Alkan, Mylo, Damian Lazarus, Art Department, Riton, Nervo, Ewan Pearson, A-Trak, Boyz Noize, Steve Aoki, Aeroplane, Felix The Housecat, Jamie Jones, Jesse Rose, Darren Emerson, Virgil Abloh, Stuart Price, The Scissor Sisters, James Murphy, LCD Soundsystem, The YYY’s, and many more.
Playing late night club sets of underground house and disco to 300 people, or banging techno/main-room/dance whatever you wanna call it to festival crowds. Whatever the time, whatever the occasion, Dangerous Dan makes people dance (and he can dance quite well himself).
What it sounds like in the words of Dangerous himself: “No trainspotting, no all night deep house, no skank, no boredom, just pure fuckin party”!

29th February 2020, General Lee (George FM - NZ) and DJ Christonite (FJ)
Christonite
Christonite’s love for DJing goes all the way back to Osaka, Japan in 2003 where he realised his passion for manipulating music working in a nightclub that hosted international artists. He further pursued this passion, being scouted and sponsored to enrol where he graduated from the acclaimed “Spinversity” & DJ Irie foundation in Miami, USA.
Having travelled around the world as a touring professional DJ, there is no type of party that he has not rocked, from beach parties in the Caribbean to intimate weddings in the Pacific to large cruise deck parties and nightclubs in North & South America to crowds of thousands.
“That’s how I experience cultures around the world, through their music and dance, and trust me, it is so beautiful, mesmerising and inspiring!”
A very active member of his local community, Christonite is no stranger to the ups and downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in festivals, nightclubs, concerts and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. He sets aside time to share and teach about music and DJing through his self funded project, the Technical Glitch DJ Academy – an initiative to educate and inspire youth in Fiji to develop and nurture DJing as an art form, culture and even a professional career. This is his way of giving back to the community. His goal is to be able to take this to village halls and rural youth centers around the country to spread positive vibes through music.
17th and 18th November 2019, Stanton Warriors (Dominic B) and Bar’el (Cloud 9 resident)
Stanton Warriors
Since bursting onto the scene with their multi award-winning compilation “The Stanton Sessions” back in 2001, the Stanton Warriors’ irresistible and inimitable sound has consistently remained the soundtrack to some of the world’s biggest and best parties over the past thirteen years; from East London warehouses, Miami boat parties and illegal Detroit raves, to the stages of Coachella, Glastonbury, Burning Man and Ultra, selling out global tours and topping DJ lists along the way.!
In the studio, Bristol’s Mark Yardley and Dominic Butler have honed a trademark, uncategorisable sound that is at once all their own, but also utterly indefinable, leading to high-profile releases on XL Records, Fabric, Cheap Thrills, Central Station and Universal, alongside official remixes for everyone from Daft Punk and Fatboy Slim, to MIA and Gorillaz. This phenomenal output and remarkable longevity has ensured the Stanton Warriors legendary status amongst not only their fans, but also their peers, as they remain fresh, original and relevant; obstinately dancing to beat of their own drum and helping to pave the way for new talent.! !
In 2014 alone, the Stanton Warriors topped the Beatport charts (again), inspired Disclosure’s Grammy-nominated album Settle, got Annie Mac dancing on her living room carpet, opened London’s 3k capacity Building Six club, saw their podcast shoot to No. 3 in the iTunes chart and smashed the stages of Ultra, Supersonic and Glastonbury.!

Spreading his well-travelled wisdom through his extensive techno collection, as well as his vast selection of global sounds, and it’s a given that Marcotix will take whichever dance-floor he captains for one heck of a ride. Marcotix’ current project, Subsonic Music, is in collaboration with another carrier of the sickness: the DJ known as MSG. Together, they craft a celebration for contaminees of the virus. Subsonic Music Festival, now in its 10th year, has become world-renowned for it’s production, forward-thinking attitude, and diversity of genres. Hand-made, homegrown, educational and enlightening, the brand also includes a monthly Sydney techno party: SubClub, and a record label.

Cassette
Groovy rolling bass lines, minimal, acid and 90s house can all be heard in Cassette's sets and productions. Not one to be pigeon holed, or limited by others’ perceptions, Cassette draws influence from many genres.
Early attendance at raves listening to Drum n Bass, Garage, House and Techno, combined with her upbringing of Soul and Blues have all helped to shape her into the dynamic house and techno queen she is today.
She has strong support from Sydney collectives S.A.S.H, Spice, Division Agency, Subsonic, Days Like, Blueprint, Return to Rio and We Love.
Internationally, her mixes have been featured on radio stations, websites and blogs around the world resulting in club and festival gigs in Europe, USA, Africa, Mexico, Dubai and Asia.
Her music knowledge and creativity is not limited to the club scene, she has recently completed a project for VIVID Sydney 2018 and has previously been headhunted to work with high-end brands Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Harpers Bazaar, Nike and Adidas.
So what's on the horizon for cassette? She is temporarily taking a break from her weekly radio show whilst she completes her studies at TAFE music and continues to fine tune her sound. With an EP and plenty of unreleased bombs under her belt I'd advise you to stay tuned...

MARCO MAZZUCCO, COCO, (SUBSONIC), BAR'EL
Marco Mazzucco
Creative musical mastermind. Subsonic Music director. Event producer extraordinaire. Marcotix is known for expertly crafting musical forcefields that put anyone who enters them under his spell. Spreading his well-travelled wisdom through his extensive techno collection, as well as his vast selection of global sounds, and it’s a given that Marcotix will take whichever dance-floor he captains for one heck of a ride. His story is not bad also.
It’s the early 90’s in the Tokyan jungle. Marco first gets infected by a vinyl at the age of 16; he has been ridden with a musical disease ever since.
Jumping continents, and from 17 until his mid 20’s, he co-ran a record store ‘House of Trance’ in New York City, then at 20 ran their monthly parties in the Lower East Side End. The sickness eventually drove him to Sydney, Australia, where he co-founded Deep As Funk - a weekly nightclub with weird, wonky, and wonderful underground techno, house & electronica - and also forced the spread of his infection, which then mutated into the festival bug. This lead to the creation of Earthdance, which morphed from a bush festival of 500 into an inner-city multi-faceted community spectacular of 20,000 dancers in just 4 years.
Of course it goes without saying, that with having such an extensive repertoire, Marco has graced the decks with some of the world’s finest purveyors of music. Because let’s face it - if you are with 20 years experience in all facets of minimal, house & techno, you would have to become somewhat of a master. And that’s exactly what Marcotix is.

Coco
There’s nothing the German-bred and Sydney-based Subsonic Music resident loves quite as much as taking whichever room she lays her hands on for one heck of a dance journey. Born and raised in northern Germany, Coco developed her passion for strong melodic progressions and dramatic phrasing through 15 years of classical piano education, during which she also started listening to and digging electro and house. Her love for dirty rolling basslines and chunky mixing got sparked during her time living in London. Cunningly meandering between driving tech-house, nasty basslines, melodic electronica, classic deep house beats and the weird and trippy things in-between, Coco’s stylish sound selection and understated mixing style creates an infectious energy which she cheekily smears all over the dancefloor and into your soul. She also enjoys frosty Australian beer, foot massages and watching people have a really good time.

TRAUMER, PEPPERPOT, BAR'EL
About Traumer...
Paris's university seems not to have lost any of its superb when it comes to electronic music. Its persistent lights keep attracting -as much as they steadily arouse- more and more artists from the country towards her, although a very few, the most cunning ones succeed in implanting durably there. Romain Reynaud aka Traumer is one of them. The keen disciple has left Avignon's comfortable warmth and plunged deep into the capital's boiling life. For a couple of years now he's been devoted entirely to his passion and has elicited many enthusiasm, offering him now the possibility to dedicate all of his time on his productions. Under IRM founders' friendly wings, who noticed in the first place his talent, and some expert producers friends and encouraging critic, the young producer keep on working and delivering new material, easily oscillating between genres, that has already convinced most of the electronic scene's god-fathers.
